Mammalian DNA gets a raise from the gene pool this year.

Researchers from Mater Research have been awarded more than $1.84 million in National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) funding.

A group of Mater researchers have discovered a key part to the bone marrow regeneration process which has the potential to improve outcomes for patients who require bone marrow transplants.

Mater Research Institute-University of Queensland (MRI-UQ) has been awarded more than $10 million in National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) funding.

Mater Research is to continuing to build the capacity and productivity of the institute through a number of new appointments.
