Mater Hospital is leading the way in cutting-edge health and medical research at the Research Australia Awards.

Collaboration between clinical research institutes the Griffith Institute for Drug Discovery, Mater Research and Translational Research Institute has led to a breakthrough in cancer research.

The Annual Mater Research Awards and Young Investigator Symposium has been held in Brisbane this week recognising the significant contribution of seasoned and emerging Mater researcher talent.

Mater Researcher Dr Felicity Davis has been awarded one of two $50,000 Metcalf Prizes from the National Stem Cell Foundation of Australia.
