Bayley-4 Australian and New Zealand Standardisation Project
Project type/s
Cross sectional study
Project status
Completed
This project aims to conduct, for the first time, an Australian and New Zealand cultural/language adaptation and standardisation of the USA version of the Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development, Fourth Edition (Bayley-4) and to collect local normative data.
Participants will be approximately 680 children, aged 16 days to 42 months, 30 days, recruited from across Australia and New Zealand. As the Bayley-4 was originally developed in the USA, adapting and standardising the tool and providing local normative data will maximise clinical utility and minimise cultural bias.
