Project type/s Clinical trial
Project status Currently underway

Induction of labour is a common obstetric intervention which is most frequently undertaken to avoid adverse fetal outcome in pregnancies at or beyond term. A variety of induction methods are used. Information which helps guide the best approach to induction would potentially benefit many women, their carers and it may also help reduce healthcare costs. This project aims at comparing the standard inpatient method for labour induction with an alternate outpatient approach.
