The Biostatistical Support Unit

The following biostatistical activities will be supported:

• Assistance with project proposal and grant applications including sample size calculations;
• Advice on study design, data collection and data management;
• Statistical analysis, interpretation, presentation and publication of results;
• Rebuttal of reviewer’s comments; and
• General biostatistical questions.

Biostatistical education for research groups will be offered throughout the year and will be advertised via the Mater Research Intranet.

All new analysis enquires and requests should be made via email. These enquiries will be answered weekly. If it is necessary to meet with a biostatistician, you can make a time with them to meet at Mater or at QIMR.
