Are you seeking an evidence-based treatment for birth trauma?
This study evaluates how helpful a psychological intervention called Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) is for new mothers experiencing symptoms of trauma following birth. Mothers will be randomised to treatment as usual or EMDR, and compared on clinical outcomes. We will evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention on trauma symptoms, dissociation, depression, anxiety, and stress symptoms.
