What does the Mater Student Research Commitee do?
The Mater Student Research Committee helps provide academic and professional development support to students. The committee organises:
- Mater Research's annual Future Leaders Symposium
- Training workshops on topics such as presentations skills, CV, grant and thesis writing
- Professional development events including seminars and Mater Research's Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition heat
- Multiple social activities and events that provide students with the opportunity to meet and socialise with peers in a relaxed, supportive environment.
